UConn faculty and staff are invited to join us for the Winter Holiday Celebration and Gingerbread House Decorating Competition

Rome Commons Ballroom

Join us at this fun event to celebrate and express appreciation for the University's employees' continuing work and service. We encourage units and departments to attend. The two-hour event is designed to allow department staff members - in coordination with their managers - to share coverage of essential office functions and take turns attending throughout the afternoon.

Gingerbread House Decorating Competition

Twenty-five teams will participate in the Gingerbread House Decorating Competition during the Winter Holiday Celebration.

Decorating begins 1:45 pm

Husky Harvest Pantry Drive

Guests are encouraged to bring a non-perishable item to donate to the Storrs Husky Harvest Food Pantry. The pantry is always in need of canned items such as tuna, soup, and vegetables, as well as peanut butter, jelly, etc. Basics like toilet paper and dish detergent, laundry detergent, shampoo and conditioner are also appreciated.

Food pantries are located on all campuses and are accessible to anyone with a UConn ID. To learn more visit Husky Harvest UConn.
